Wakemusic · Android · Terms of Use

Distribution channel:Google PlayEffective date:2026-09-24

These Terms of Use apply to Wakemusic for Android distributed through Google Play, provided by Kaka Inc. Contact support@kakainc.com for assistance.

1. The service and your license

Wakemusic provides local music playback, library management and the cloud-access and music-recognition features supported by your version. Features, compatibility and regional availability depend on the released version. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software lawfully; the software and brand remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Read these terms and the privacy policy for this channel before using the service. Minors should use it with appropriate guardian supervision and any consent required by applicable law. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights.

2. Your music and permitted use

You must own or have the necessary permission to play, download, store and process the content you select. Wakemusic is a tool and does not grant copyright licenses for songs, recordings, artwork or lyrics, or establish that content is permitted for every location or use.

Do not use the app to infringe intellectual property or privacy, bypass third-party access controls, unlawfully distribute protected music or interfere with the app or connected services. Rights that applicable law protects, including permitted interoperability and security research, are not excluded by these terms.

3. Files and connected services

You are responsible for selecting files, managing device storage and backing up important content before operations that may affect it. We do not operate an application backend to host your music library or cloud credentials and do not promise cloud backup of your files.

Connected services require your own eligible accounts and compliance with their terms. You can revoke access through the relevant provider. Network conditions, provider restrictions and API changes may affect browsing, downloads and recognition. Google API data use also follows the Google API Services User Data Policy; manage access in Google account connections.

4. Recognition and third-party components

The Android app uses Apple's ShazamKit for supported music-recognition features. Results depend on audio quality, catalog coverage and connectivity; they may be incorrect or unavailable. Check results yourself. Recognition results do not grant permission to use protected content.

The app uses Firebase as described in the privacy policy. This Android version does not integrate RevenueCat.

5. Prices and store rules

Any app price or paid offer is governed by the store listing and transaction screen shown to you. These terms do not themselves initiate a charge or create an automatically renewing subscription. If paid features are introduced, their price, entitlement, duration and applicable rules will be explained before an explicit purchase confirmation.

Google Play accounts, distribution and any store transactions or refunds follow the store's rules and applicable law. Mobile-data fees and third-party cloud subscriptions are charged separately by their providers. Direct transaction requests to the original transaction provider and app-support requests to our contact address.

6. Updates, ending use and responsibility

We may release updates to maintain compatibility, fix issues and improve the service, and will explain material service changes appropriately. Changes to external services or operating systems may affect features. We will address issues within reasonable bounds but cannot guarantee permanent third-party availability or perfect recognition results.

For a serious breach of these terms, we may restrict affected services as reasonably necessary, providing an explanation and contact route where lawful and appropriate. You can stop using and uninstall the app and revoke third-party authorizations at any time. This does not automatically delete cloud files or cancel separate arrangements with providers.

Each party remains responsible under applicable law. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes statutory refund, compensation or other remedies.

7. Changes and disputes

Updated terms appear here with an effective date. We will give appropriate notice of material changes and obtain agreement when legally required. If you decline new optional service conditions, you can stop using those services without losing rights you have already lawfully acquired.

Contact support@kakainc.com first if a dispute arises. The parties may seek an amicable resolution or use competent courts and other remedies available under applicable law. Mandatory protections in your jurisdiction remain available.
