TuneMyMusic vs Soundiiz vs SongShift: which playlist transfer tool should you choose?

TuneMyMusic, Soundiiz and SongShift all help with music transfers, but choosing between them starts with your destination, device and whether you need a one-time copy or ongoing synchronization. PlaylistPort is another app-based option. There is no single winner for every library, and the comparison below is based on published features rather than a hands-on accuracy ranking.

Compare the workflow before the price

Tool What to investigate Official information
TuneMyMusic Browser-based migration, recurring sync and cloud backup Plans
Soundiiz Playlist transfer alongside broader library management and synchronization Features and plans
SongShift iPhone/iPad workflow, matching review and optional Pro features FAQ
PlaylistPort An app-based transfer route with App Store and Google Play downloads; confirm support in your installed version Product and downloads

These are starting points, not a complete feature matrix. Free allowances, supported services and paid features can change. Soundiiz also offers mobile apps; a browser workflow is not its only access option. We do not assume all PlaylistPort features are identical across Apple and Android devices.

Which tool should you choose for Spotify to Apple Music?

First check that your chosen tool can read the source item and write to the destination. A public Spotify playlist, private playlist and liked-songs collection can need different access. Confirm that you are authorizing the intended accounts, especially if you have multiple family or personal accounts.

Then use the same test playlist in the tools you are considering. Include a few unusual editions and check the resulting recordings in Apple Music. A list reporting the expected number of tracks can still contain the wrong remix. Our Spotify to Apple Music guide explains the practical checks; fixing wrong song matches covers edition mismatches.

Is a free transfer enough?

Measure the job before comparing plans. Count the tracks and playlists, decide whether favourites or albums are included, and determine whether this is a one-time move. Check current limits directly in each product. A small free trial may establish whether the workflow suits you without covering an entire library. We do not present PlaylistPort as the cheapest or as unlimited without a like-for-like, current price comparison.

Do you need synchronization or just a copy?

For a permanent service switch, a checked one-time transfer may be sufficient. For a curator maintaining playlists on several services, recurring synchronization can be a deciding feature. Confirm update frequency and how additions, deletions and manual edits are handled. Do not assume that a transfer button also provides continuous sync.

For any tool, keep the original lists while you check results. Music catalogue availability differs by service and country; a missing recording may need a manual substitute. Transfers do not copy audio downloads, subscription payments or account history.
