How do I transfer a private playlist without making it public?

Use the source service's account sign-in option in PlaylistPort when supported, and sign in to the account that can access the private playlist. Public-link import may not expose private entries. If your version cannot access that playlist through an authorized account connection, do not assume a copied link will bypass its privacy settings.

Steps to follow

1. Check which source account owns the private list or has permission to access it.
2. Use a supported account connection and verify that the intended private playlist appears before selecting tracks.
3. After transferring, inspect the destination playlist's visibility in the destination service's own settings.

Check privacy at both ends

Source privacy and destination privacy are separate settings. Do not assume a newly created playlist inherits the original visibility. If authorized account access is unavailable for your route, a copied link is not a way around the source service's access controls.
