PlaylistPort · FAQ
Why are songs missing after a playlist transfer?
Compare the source list, the matches reviewed in PlaylistPort and the final destination playlist. Missing songs can come from regional catalog differences, inaccessible source entries or recordings absent from the destination. Search for the specific artist and version before retrying. A successful match cannot make a region-restricted song playable in a country where the service does not offer it.
Steps to follow
- Compare three stages: the source playlist, the tracks imported into PlaylistPort and the final destination playlist.
- For each missing entry, note the artist and exact recording so you can search the destination meaningfully.
- Retry only the relevant selection once access or matching has been corrected, instead of blindly repeating the whole list.
Find where the track disappeared
A song absent from the imported list points to source access; an unmatched song points to catalog or identification differences. A visible but unplayable destination entry may be region-restricted. Distinguishing these cases helps you choose a useful fix and avoid unnecessary duplicates.
